I am a mindfulness-based therapist, with offices in Seattle and Bellevue, providing therapy services for teenagers, adults, and couples.
“Sometimes it takes darkness and the sweet confinement of our aloneness to learn that anyone or anything that does not bring you alive is too small for you.”
- David Whyte
In our work together we will focus on - identifying your immediate needs and unraveling old patterns that keep you stuck in a cycle of pain, conflict, or self-destruction. This leads to finding balance in your daily life. I use talk therapy so you can express the story of your pain, grief, or sadness; yoga therapy to help move stagnant energy out of your body; and meditation so you have tools to transform your life into the life you know you deserve.
Through this integral process you will create healthy boundaries, feel hopeful and happier, and begin moving forward in a new way. How do your past, family of origin, upbringing, culture, and other factors inform who you are today? And, what is holding you back from living the life you want? Questions such as these serve as a guide towards understanding what got you to where you are and what will propel you to where you want to be.
Therapy is open to people of all cultures and ethnicity, religious and spiritual backgrounds. Clients may have ADD, ADHD, Anxiety, Stress, Chronic Pain, Life Changes, Anger Management, Depression, Sadness, and other issues. If you have any concerns as to whether therapy is appropriate for you please contact me.
